Happy Father’s Day-Scrap book with collection of Memories.

 

It was the lovely evening , when I came into this world…

And you held me, hugged me and said “Baby I’m your father!!”A great feeling you shared.

As the days moved,I started growing…You showed me the world from the top mountains of your shoulders.

As the days moved,I started growing..You made me swim through the corners and middle of pool.

Holding my fingers gently, when I started taking a first few steps,

Pushing my tricycle to give it start,making me peddle.

Listening first words of rhyme ’Johnny Johnny’ and clapping for me.

As the days moved ,I started growing…U made my each experience special …

Papa U are so very special to me”I LOVE YOU”!!

On the occasion of  Father’s Day decided to make scrap book with collection of al the memories from Khwaish’s birth to memorable days giving surprise to dearest Father for being so special.He is overwhelmed and touched to see lovely surprise.

Celebrating Festival Of Colours through Flower Garden.

 

Sometime even unplanned activity comes close to the festival  of season.Yes ,started same thing as sharpening the our pencils,and tempted to start activity .

 

Initially it started as thought to use pencil shavings as flowers…

 

But later thought to add  spare flowers of  family tree which comes as DIY ready to made craft kit , Khwaish completed yesterday itself.

 

Once we were done with an orange flower,time to put all shavings pencil flowers on board,used fevi-glue to stick all shredded flowers on board.

 

 

Now thought to experiment on the recycled board with brush prints using beautiful bright colours.

 

 

Now wanted some butterflies in our flower garden since garden is already very bright ,used yellow colour to bring fluttering creature into life.

 

I forgot to mentioned about green colour which symbolizes leaves and rest of green elements of garden.

 

Finally some finishing work used sketch-pen,outline to little details.I’m just loving unintentional effort got us into different shades of colour which is main idea of our festival ’HOLI’.

 

I never thought exploring colour from flower garden could possibly one of the best idea to touch theme different colours,feel like close attempt to celebrate the Holi on the canvas.

Collecting colours from Nature.

 

This is time of  year when colour of festival is just round the corner.Often miss the home town for not being with the family plus get nostalgic about my childhood days when we used to drench each other with different water and dry colours and later used to treat ourselves with homemade sweet specially to mentioned ’Gujiya’(one of the famous sweets for holi festival),and how can I forgot those khathe meetha Dahi bhalla which we still prepare.

 

As first phase of celebrating the festival of colour,we planned the session using birthday decoration paper.We used all colour as a rainbow effect,pasted on white chart one after another.Initially wanted to paste some of nature’s creation on the top of same but later dropped the idea,reason you will know in the later part of blog.

 

As lifting our spirit more for the festival,done a abstract which is one of my favorite,using colour  and brush ,flow with the same.

Last but not least ,our love for nature gave us opportunity to explore and collect different colours of nature on canvas,just showcasing them,no paints,no colours,nothing ,only visual medium of expression.Initially,tried it on small scale and got so impressed and excited  ,I planned to do same on large sheet with help of Khwaish’s collection.

 

Small version created on canvas with putting some dry leaves(brown colour),green leaf,sea shell,long dry leaf(eucalyptus),pomegranate flower(red),some berries.I liked the beauty of the idea.So being hit idea in my family,I thought to put same show in bigger version.

I gave Khwaish one big chart and her own collection from the nature,I must say nature offer so many lovely colorful creations,touched to see leaf itself got so many

shades to offer from green,brown,mix of yellow and green,yellow,purple,and on and on .She placed everything in just random order according to her wish.She enjoyed placing each product,loved those berries.

 

This is final picture of complete show put by Khwaish….Complete collection of nature’s colours on Canvas surely a visual treats for eyes and soul.

Back to blogging…Republic Day Special.

 

Hello To Family and Friends .Back to to blogging after long time in fact first for year 2012,so first of all HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL and great year ahead.

The year end was really busy time for greencraftingkid team from enjoying the season of Christmas  with our creativity  followed by amazing time enjoying the weather in the northern part of INDIA in the first week of new year.It was freezing temperature ,we got to have perfect vacations,witnessed freezing climate to snowfalls to some of lovely memories of snowy trip.I kept up my promise I made to Khwaish  about showing her snow,even she had great time playing with snowballs,that was kind of Perfect happiness on my kid’s face….

Sharing you some of best clicks of the season,Enjoy the same.

All fresh and rejuvenated for the year now ..

Keeping my visit description little short….I will share first session for this year.

Initially I had in my mind to start my blogging from next month,but my inspirational friend Mommy labs blog made me woke up little early …Thanks Rashmie for the same.

This is unplanned activity,I told Khwaish that today is Republic Day of India…She replied back as’ Is it INDIA’s DAY Mamma?I was like ‘YES’ because I guess for kids understanding, seemed to be good idea to define the day as INDIA’s DAY…what say friends.

I asked her what she would like to do today ,she wanted to make INDIA….she meant to prepare FLAG which is good idea from her side according to me.So time to take out some dry colours(yes long vacations made my colours dry)  and untouched brushes after long time.

First of all took out white chart paper as a base.Khwaish had really good idea to prepare Indian Flag,So first we used water to extract colour from our dry orange colour.

 

She showed tremendous interest,infact she took green colour paint charge from me,completed the same.

 

We used little white in middle although white chart was used,but by mistake some green and orange drops fall in the middle.

 

 

In the last Khwaish made circle in the middle and made couple of lines inside the same, I told her about the fact its 24 lines inside the Ashoka Chakra.

 

Now time to decide perfect place,so we attached a long stick to it and made it flag,and hang same on our terrace.

Perfect Christmas View.

 

This is last blog for year 2011 from greencraftingkid before taking blogging break for couple of days to enjoy life with family.Thanks to all my family and friends for appreciating my blog and giving lovely feedback at the same time.

All this season we been busy doing lots of Christmas activity from making Christmas tree with hat and Ice-cream sticks to Snowmen with thumb prints,thought to put everything in one final project.

Last weekend we bought one artificial Christmas tree for decoration out of  excitement for the festival,Khwaish had really great time putting hats,drums,candy,Santa and lots of stuff on the same.

 

 

After lot of hard work our job was done and X-mas Tree looking very beautiful.

 

Ok friends,for my final project I took one card board box,specially got it from grocery shop in my apartment.Then at the bottom of box pasted our Snowmen poster and on the side walls thumb print impression which look like snow fall seen.

 

Once side walls were ready ,pasted blue paper on the top as sky view which is hidden in view always.

Covered the cardboard box with white sheet from outside too.Then made hole on the top of box for fixing X-Mas tree(hat) and placed some gift under the tree.

 

Pasted lots of sequence of shinning stones on the top of box,just next to X-Mas tree and gifts.Then absolutely fun time for Khwaish,gave her her sticker with star shape,she covered X-Mas tree with stars plus  in between the sequence lots of tits bits ,such a crafty work by my darling daughter.

Finally top of the box is ready….Your views friends?

 

Then place all the Ice-cream stick trees in lines…

On the other wall….Santa Claus.

Now time to put snow on the bottom,after all Christmas is season to witness the snow.I have used cotton for the purpose of creating the snow view and enhanced the view with our collection of things from colour beads,bands dolls,bell,e.t.c

 

This project has come up really well,close to my heart and Khwaish,although I m travelling on Christmas Eve I feel enthusiasm of the season is already on the peak in my home.

Christmas Tree Making.

 

Inspired by friend’s blog Mommy Lab we got idea to use spare birthday cap for the purpose of making X-Mas tree.Initially we tried colouring the cap with green colour,but not satisfying result,so we pasted green sheet on the cap to have appropriate colour .

Then we added lots of glowing sequence on the green cap which made its look fabulous.

 

We used almininium  foil empty stick roll for the stem of X-Mas tree and glorified same with glittery tape after colouring the same with brown colour.

 

Now time to take out some treasure from our collection,we took out some bells in silver and golden colour,with the help of thread tied bells on the green part bottom as a hanging bells.

Finally time to put cherry on the cake,I mean on tree…We had one Yellow star from some rubber band,placed the same on the top of tree.Later we fixed the green part on the stem ,with lovely hanging bells.

Our Tree is ready….Making best from waste.

Christmas special green visit.

 

The relation between empty weekends and green visit is known as ‘Breathe the nature’ in my family dictionary.Long time, bad weather and in between Khwaish’s health issues keeping us in little low sprits.

One of things which is enjoyable experience for my family is this green visits,so with empty weekend ,again exploration on to charge our ourselves.Since Christmas is quite near thought of going for relevant visit ,so went for Christmas tree visit which I have seen during drives through those farm .

The Christmas trees are of two types-Fir and pine,one we went is fir one.

 

In between these flock of sheep and hen hidden near tree was quite entertaining for Khwaish.

 

 

One of Christmas tree in front of house is quite big one…..Again Fir.

 

Well that farm person gave us one small plant  which I have l already planted in the flower pot,let’s see how much time it will take to grow big.

Christmas Season of celebration.

 

The year 2011 is almost ready to say Good bye to all of us,before welcoming the new year let’s have perfect adventure and celebration of Season of winter with Christmas.

First set of activity for Christmas involves making card for the seasons.We choose to use the X-Mas tree as theme for first set of card making activity.

I made triangle with pencil for Khwaish and gave her glittery tape to stick same on the triangle to prepare first X-Mas tree,and with no doubts she did good job.

 

 

 

And once that triangle was ready ,I gave her glitter glue to enhance its beauty.We are ready with our first X-Mas tree.

 

For Second tree we cut  triangle from green chart paper,and pasted same on white chart ,later I made candy on the bottom of X-mas tree and some red glittery decoration.

 

Third card was made with different sizes of triangles placed  on one over another from small to big size sorted by Khwaish and cut by me to give perfect look of X-Mas tree.

 

 

Last but not the least….We pasted red colour ball(this is same ball we used during Id card making too)  in two lines and written Christmas message on the same.

 

This is first set of Christmas activity,whole month planned to celebrate the spirit of the season.Keep rocking !!
