For past few months of enjoying winter birding at Nallagandla lake(ofcourse long pending blog to be written)desire to explore new hotspot around Hyderabad before end of pleasant season. No doubt one of moto to go for the place was Pelician which i saw at Kaikondrahali lake Bangalore, first and last time , anyhow cancellation of some other plan gave opportunity ,to make newer.
Ameenpur Lake which is famous birding location in Hyderabad is treat for the birders ,as location offers combination of wetland, grassland and long tree, increases chances of watching more variety. The moment i entered place ,trees on bank of lake was full of rosy starling dreamy scene, around 60-70 along with few white breasted Kingfisher, raised hope and motivation of catching more for the day.
